Crystal Palace are being linked with Sochaux midfielder Skelly Alvero and Coventry City striker Viktor Gyokeres ahead of the summer transfer window. The Eagles have significantly boosted their hopes of surviving in the Premier League this season with their dramatic 2-1 win over Leicester City at Selhurst Park.

According to reporter Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, Roy Hodgson’s side are ‘tracking’ Alvero ahead of a potential swoop in the future. However, Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach have also been credited with an interest.

Crystal Palace could see the promising 20-year-old as a possible long-term option in the middle of the park. He has been with his current club for his whole career to date and has broken into their first-team this term in Ligue 2 as they eye promotion to Ligue 1.

The Eagles are also said to be keen on Coventry hotshot Gyokeres, who has previously played for their rivals Brighton and Hove Albion. He is understood to be a man in-demand right now and Football Insider claim the London club will be joined by the likes of West Ham and Brentford in pursuit of him.

The Sweden international has scored 18 league goals in this campaign. He is under contract until June 2024 and the Sky Blues face a battle to keep him.
