'Bring him off' - Jamie Carragher slams Man Utd man 'embarrassed' by Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace forward Michael Olise embarrassed the Manchester United defence as he opened the scoring at Selhurst Park in the Premier League fixture on Monday night.
The 22-year-old didn't need a second invitation as the Red Devils defence backed off and invited him to run at the backline. Olise obliged before slotting home from the edge of the box, the accuracy of his shot ensuring a slight bobble didn't prevent him from registering his eighth top flight goal of the season.

Carragher said: "He's playing out of position tonight. This has nothing to do with playing out of position. That could be a holding midfield role. That is embarrassing. They need to bring him off.
"Nothing can be worse than Casemiro playing centre-back in the second half for Manchester United. Put Wan-Bissaka in the middle and bring someone on to play full-back."
Carragher was joined by former Manchester United man and current Everton player Ashley Young in the studio to provide punditry on the game. The full-back also criticised the Red Devils' defence.

He said: "As for this now, it's shambolic. I don't know what Casemiro is thinking, maybe that Olise is going to go backwards. Olise sees he's going to come out and try and make a challenge then just walks past him. It's so easy. It's so easy."
Manchester United are without Harry Maguire in their defence this evening. The centre-back has suffered a muscle injury in training and is set to miss three weeks of action, leaving Erik ten Hag having to deploy midfielder Casemiro in the unusual position. Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof, Lisandro Martinez are all also injured.
