Wolves manager Gary O'Neil has been handed a massive boost in training ahead of this weekend's game against Chelsea with midfielder Pedro Neto returning to first-team training. This is the first time Neto is training with the first team in months and was spotted in pictures released by the club on Thursday afternoon.

The winger was one of the most in-form players in the league before his hamstring injury against Newcastle with former player and Molineux legend John Richards branding him 'outstanding' before his injury.

Chelsea will go into the game with injury issues of their own with as many as 10 players missing including captain Reece James, his assistant Ben Chilwell and goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.

Spanish defender Marc Cucurella twisted his ankle in the 2-0 defeat to Everton and will be out for three months after having surgery. There is also still no sign of Trevoh Chalobah or summer signing Romeo Lavia.

The Blues have had a tough start to the league campaign, winning just six of their 17 matches but they have found some form after beating Sheffield United last weekend at Stamford Bridge. They also showed character and determination to come from a goal down and eventually beat Newcastle United 4-2 through the penalty shootout and progress to the semi-final of the Carabao Cup where they will take on Championship side Middlesbrough.

So they will arrive at the Molineux this weekend buoyed by their last two wins and hoping to take all three points that push them into the top half of the league table.
