It is yet to be known whether the France international will be staying with Chelsea or moving on to another team. He signed from Leicester City back in 2016 and helped the Blues win the Premier League title in his first year. The midfielder has made 262 appearances in all competitions to date and has scored 13 goals.

Marcus Bettinelli

He provides useful competition and back-up between the sticks but sees his deal expire at the end of June. The former Fulham and Middlesbrough man has played just once since signing back in 2021. The 30-year-old needs to decide whether he is happy to sit on the bench or if he wants to be a number one somewhere else.

Nathan Baxter

The stopper returned from his loan spell at Hull City earlier this winter due to injury problems. He also spent time on loan with the Tigers in the last campaign but it remains to be seen whether they will swoop in for him this summer again. They have recently brought in Karl Darlow from Newcastle United.

Sam McClelland

The 21-year-old joined Chelsea in 2018 from Coleraine in his native Northern Ireland and penned his first professional contract 12 months later. However, he is yet to make a senior appearance for the Premier League side and has spent this season on loan at Barrow. He has played 17 times for the Bluebirds and has chipped in with a single goal.

He has been on the books of the Blues since 2007 and has risen up through the academy ranks. The right-back, who is a former England youth international, is no stranger to a loan spell away. He is currently playing for Stoke City in the Championship having previously been at Coventry City, Wigan Athletic and Blackpool.
