Chelsea will already be looking ahead to the January transfer window amid the World Cup action in Qatar.
The Blues get some extra time to plan around possible additions due to the break from club football, and they may also be keeping an eye on the contract situations at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea have a number of players out of terms at the end of the current season, and indeed the next, meaning some big decisions are facing Blues chiefs.
If Chelsea aren’t going to hand out new contracts, they may have to consider selling them before their deals expire, and with that in mind, we have rounded up all of the contracts expiring at Chelsea in the next 18 months.

1. Jorginho (2023)
Jorginho is out of contract at the end of the current season. There have been claims Chelsea are feeling good about extending the Italian’s deal.

2. N’Golo Kante (2023)
Kante is another who is out of contract after this season. The midfielder’s situation is complicated by his recent history of injuries, which only seems to have got worse this season.

3. Thiago Silva (2023)
Silva is out of contract and is now 38 years of age. Though, he is still playing at a high level and reports have claimed there are talks ongoing.

4. Marcus Bettinelli (2023)
Marcus Bettenelli is out of terms at the end of this season. He has never made a Premier League appearance for Chelsea, but he could be kept around as a third choice.
