Chelsea have been boosted ahead of the trip to Bournemouth with news that forward Mykhailo Mudryk is back in training.

Chelsea finally have some positive news on the injury front after forward Mykhailo Mudryk is back in training with his Ukraine teammates after the scare in the England game.

The 22-year-old kept everyone at Chelsea hoping for the best after he asked to be substituted in the 1-1 draw game against England over the weekend.

This has been a strange start to the season for Chelsea players after Romeo Lavia who signed from Southampton picked up what looks like a worrying injury in training.

Then Mykhailo Mudryk asked to be taken off in the 90 minutes against England to balance out the news that Benoît Badiashile has been training hard at Cobham and be involved for the first time this season when they travel to Bournemouth.

Chelsea manager Pochettino would be delighted that his Ukrainian star is back in training in a boost to what has been another difficult international break for injuries.

The Chelsea boss had hoped he could recover players in the 14 days that they would have been without a game due to the break. He said: “I think nearly all my squad will be away so we will only have four or five. It will be useful to recover my players to have a more competitive squad to get the best results.”

“So, for Chelsea, the international break can be a chance to get injured players back.

Chelsea have lost two, drawn one and won only one of their first four games of the season. They will now have to respond when they travel to Bournemouth this coming weekend.
