Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino says he will not comment on the ongoing discussions regarding the signing of Moises Caicedo from Brighton and Hove Albion.
Jurgen Klopp confirmed in his press conference that he had been told Liverpool have agreed a deal for the midfielder with Brighton despite Chelsea being the front-runners for most of the summer.

We have do not endless resources, but we had a few things happen this summer that we didn’t expect. Hendo, Fab going. Let’s see what happens and then we go from there. I don’t know [if there is a medical today].”
But Pochettino who was speaking ahead of their Premier League opener against Liverpool says he’d rather not comment on the issue out of respect to Brighton and the player.
The Argentine manager told the press: “I never talk about players who don’t belong to us. We are working hard to add more players to the squad and if we have some updates to make for you the club will do.
“At the moment I will not talk about players who do not play for us. Like any club, we are trying to add more quality to reinforce our squad With Paul, Laurence and the owners, the relationship is really good.”

Chelsea shipped out almost 11 first-team players this summer and even though the likes of Nicolas Jackson and the now-injured Christopher Nkunku have been brought in there is still the feeling that they need more quality, especially in midfield.
The Blues have been linked to Southampton’s Romeo Lavia and are closing in on signing Leeds United Tyler Adams.
