David Ornstein of The Athletic reports he is set to join the German outfit on a four-year deal and will wear the number nine shirt. It brings an end to one of the summer’s transfer sagas with Bayern seeing two offers knocked back for the player who has just one year remaining on his deal at thr Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Kane has made 435 appearances for Spurs, scoring 280 goals and providing 64 assists. 213 of those goals have come in the Premier League, putting him second on the all-time goal-scorers list, behind Alan Shearer on 260.

The striker has been a top target for Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel this summer, with the Telegraph reporting the former Chelsea boss will be stunned if the forward does not move to Germany.

Reports in Italy from Gazzetta dello Sport claim Spurs could turn to Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku if Kane completes a move to Bayern. Lukaku has been linked with a permanent return to Italy after spending last season on loan at Inter Milan with Juventus targeting the player.
