Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has admitted he does not feel love from Blues supporters after away fans chanted for the Argentine's departure at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Chelsea drew 2-2 with West London rivals Brentford but struggled after half-time as the Bees dominated and scored twice to comeback from a first-half Nicolas Jackson header. Axel Disasi levelled the score with a late header.

Midway through the second half, the away section chanted against Pochettino's tenure and even in favour of Chelsea legend Jose Mourinho. Speaking after the match, the Blues boss insisted that his relationship with fans was not an issue, even if he felt no love.

Pochettino said: "I've been told but I didn't hear it to be honest. It was difficult for me to understand. I need to believe. It's normal. We were losing the game 2-1 and it's about expressing frustration. Of course, I am one of those responsible, I am the head coach.

"I am not worried. We need to accept this relationship. Someone asked me, do you feel the love from the fans? No. We need to build the relationship through winning games. At the moment we are not matching the expectation. I want to continue to work and try to change this perception. We keep moving and pushing, we need to manage some reality but we are working really, really hard to try and win games. The team is fighting."

Pochettino was also quizzed as to whether his Chelsea side may be struggling for motivation as the Premier League run-in begins. The club sit 11th in the top flight but are 14 points off fifth place.

He said: "They are motivated. We only lose the final. We beat Aston Vila, Crystal Palace, Leeds and draw today. It's now to keep pushing. The commitment of the players is massive. We are suffering because of the fixtures. We now recover and prepare for Newcastle United."
