Marcel Sabitzer to Man Utd transfer as Chelsea update is bad news

Sky Sports Germany report Chelsea have enquired about Sabitzer, looking to add depth to their midfield amid the expected departure of Jorginho.

Jorginho has gone to Arsenal, leaving Chelsea with a gap in their midfield, with Hakim Ziyech also looking likely to leave, albeit the Moroccan plays a more advanced role. Sabitzer has been touted as a possible signing, and it is now being reported that Chelsea are in the race to land the Bayern Munich star.

Chelsea are not alone in their interest of Sabitzer, with Manchester United also said to be in the race.

United have lost Christian Eriksen until late April or May, and Sabitzer is reportedly seen as a possible stop-gap.
