'Maestro' - ex-Chelsea boss to leave Bundesliga giants by end of 2023/24 season
Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has been told that he will no longer have a future with the German club Bayern Munich following the end of the 2023/24 season.
The Bundesliga club are set to end their season without a trophy for the first time since 2011/12. Recent defeats have seen them suffer a 3-0 loss to league leaders Bayern Leverkusen, a 1-0 Champions League loss to Lazio and a 3-2 disaster to VfL Bochum on Sunday.

According to the German outlet BILD, Bayern have held talks with the 50-year-old manager in the last few days and subsequently made the decision for him to leave the club at the end of the campaign.
Tuchel joined the side in March 2023 on a deal that should have seen him stay at the club until June 2025 but this has since been cut short due to the recent struggling form. He previously managed Chelsea from 2021-2022 and was removed from his post following Todd Boehly's acquisition of the club. The 50-year-old boss won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup with the Stamford Bridge side.
BILD's report also included allegations of a dressing room split with six key players falling into an anti-Tuchel team while six others remained supportive of the former Stamford Bridge manager.

Leverkusen manager Alonso is now set to be a primary target for Bayern's CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen. In his first season with the Bundesliga side, Alonso steered the club out of the relegation zone and into a sixth-place finish. This season, Alonso's side remain unbeaten in the top-flight.
It remains to be seen, however, whether Alonso continues to see out his current contract - which is until June 2026 - or takes the multiple offers coming his way from across the continent.
