Tel joins Spurs

Tottenham pulled off a huge deal on deadline day, and in the final minutes, landing Mathys Tel on a loan deal from Bayern Munich with a £45million option to buy. Sky Sports say Spurs will propose a six-year deal if they decide to make the deal permanent, and Ange Postecoglou has already told the 19-year-old how he wants to use him. Tel was linked with a number of clubs, including Manchester United and Arsenal. Spurs will pay a loan fee of around £5million, according to reports, so their overall investment could be £50million if they make the deal permanent.

Chilwell escapes the Bridge

Ben Chilwell has ended his exile from Enzo Maresca’s squad by securing a loan deal to Crystal Palace on deadline day. He joins the Eagles on loan until the end of the season. He said: “I'm very excited to be here. Crystal Palace is a club that's going in a great direction. You look at the last few months, with the results and how the team's playing, and it was a no-brainer to make the decision to come here."

Felix also gets move (To be made official)

Another Chelsea player who was struggling for game time has landed a loan exit, penning a last-minute loan deal to join AC Milan for the rest of the season. This deal has not been made official at time of writing, but the documents have reportedly been signed on time, and Felix arrived in Milan with plenty of time to spare.

The Portugal international has not convinced Enzo Maresca since arriving on a big-money deal in the summer. Milan lost Alvaro Morata and Noah Okafor this month. They will pay around £5million for the loan deal and cover Felix’s salary.

...and another

Rob Holding landed a season-long loan move to Sheffield United, ending his exile from the Crystal Palace squad. Holding fell out with Oliver Glasner and has been cast aside since. He now links up with the Blades for a promotion push in the Championship.

Charlton land McIntyre

Charlton have signed Portsmouth defender Tom McIntyre, who has penned a season-long loan deal. Nathan Jones said of the deal: "Tom is a centre-half with a load of experience. He got in the Reading side as a young player and has played in the Championship for the majority of his career. He’s a real good footballing centre-half, one that can develop play for us and one that has real good experience and pedigree for his age. We’ve been able to strengthen and add a bit more balance to our defence with him being left-footed."

Orient land Charlton defender

Leyton Orient signed Charlton Athletic defender Rarmani Edmonds-Green late on deadline day, tying him down to a two-and-a-half year deal. Orient boss Richie Wellens said: "I gave 'Reg' his first league experience at Swindon and he was fantastic for me. He's great in the air and is a footballer with really good attributes. He's a really good age and has won promotion from this league before with Rotherham United. He has got a lot of Championship experience under his belt.

"It's another really good signing for us, and he's a player who we don't think is at his peak yet and he has a lot more improvement he can make. We think we can make him fitter and stronger."
