On-loan Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix has hinted he’d like to stay at Chelsea beyond his loan spell after admitting he feels the love from the Blues fans already.

The Portuguese is only three months into his six months loan spell at Stamford Bridge and has only one goal to his name so far but can not hide astonishing difference in affection in three months compared to three years in Madrid.

The 23-year-old is costing Chelsea around £9 million for the time he will be in west London and even though the Blues are currently going through a tough period with just two wins in the last 15 games- Felix has already settled in and is impressing his teammates.

Manchester United and Arsenal were linked to forward when it became clear he was available and wanted to try something new but it was Chelsea who secured his signature and now the fans already have a chant for him during games

He told ELEVEN: “I was at Atletico for 3 years and I didn’t have a chant, here at Chelsea, I had one after one game.

“They (Blues fans) have a chant for almost every player, it’s funny. The position I play in and the way we play at Chelsea is different from how we played at Atlético.
