Just before heading to London, the chairman of KAA Gent confirmed the number of fans travelling with them, and there is a belief they could upset the odds.
"We're going there with 3,200 supporters. Very exciting," chairman Sam Baro told VTM Nieuws before the departure. "It's David versus Goliath. But miracles still happen. Normally, I don't believe in miracles, but the team is ready. The focus is there."
Chelsea Without Key Man Palmer
Chelsea will be without Cole Palmer for the game, as he has been left out to give him some much-needed rest. The squad is full of talented players who are fighting for minutes, so Palmer's absence first raised a few eyebrows. However, the team's form has instilled the belief that they can handle the group stage without having to rely on their star player.

However, their absence opens up opportunities for players like Tosin Adarabioyo and Christopher Nkunku, both of whom have impressed whenever called upon. They could get a chance to start and push for a spot in the lineup for the weekend game against Nottingham Forest.
