Chelsea produced a professional performance to beat National League side Chesterfield 5-1 to advance to the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Thomas Tuchel was again without a recognised right back and played forward Christian Pulisic in the position.

The Champions League winning manager predictably did not want to talk about transfers, preferring to focus on youngster Lewis Hall, who aged only 17, is the youngest player to ever start an FA Cup game for the club.

Thomas Tuchel said of the 17-year-old Lewis Hall: “He deserved to play, he is a nice guy and very calm. A huge opportunity at Stamford Bridge. He took his chance and was hugely involved in some of the goals. I’m happy for him.’

So with the Chelsea manager not giving away too much with regards to transfers, LondonWorld.com brings you every player who has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this month

Since leaving Chelsea for Real Madrid two seasons ago, the Belgian international has consistently been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge.

Hazard hasn’t hit the heights in Madrid and there is a feeling that a return to the European Champions is what he needs to relaunch his career.

Jules Koundé

The Sevilla defender was a summer target for Chelsea and despite talks on going the deal did not materialise.

He’s been mentioned again both in the British Press and Spanish papers that he could seal the move to Stamford Bridge this winter. Chelsea are locked in contract talks with Rudiger and Christensen but kounde is seen as a long term goal for the European Champions.

The Inter Milan man is on the list of Europe’s top teams and his contract is up in the summer with Chelsea reportedly monitoring the situation. Chelsea signed Saul Niguez from Atletico Madrid but he’s yet to settle into life and could be offloaded in the summer for another midfielder.

Emerson Palmieri

Originally a Chelsea player but went out on loan to Lyon where he’s enjoying his game. He has been impressive in the French League with manager Thomas Tuchel openly admitting that the club is in talks to bring him back to Stamford Bridge to cover for injured Ben Chillwell.

Aurelien Tchouameni

Another powerful young midfielder who has got Europe’s top teams looking at him. He recently earned his first French National team call up and Juventus, Chelsea and PSG are all said to be monitoring his progress.

Matthijs de Ligt

Strong, powerful and promising the Dutch defender is said to be unsettled at Juventus and would jump at the chance to play in the Premier League.

With Chelsea keeping their tabs on potential players should Rudiger and Christensen leave, De Ligt has been mentioned as being high on the Chelsea target list.
