Chelsea’s poor form in the Premier League continues and pressure is mounting on boss Graham Potter. The Blues are currently 10th in the league table as they endure a tough season.

Potter has won 34.6% of games since taking over Thomas Tuchel. Here is a look at nine candidates who could replace him...

The 50-year-old remains available following his departure from Real Madrid since May 2021 and has been carefully weighing up his next move in the game. He has won the Champions League three times during his time as manager at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Mauricio Pochettino

He left PSG at the end of the last campaign and is still unattached. The former Espanyol and Southampton boss was at Tottenham Hotspur from 2014 to 2019 and was a popular figure during his time in North London, winning 54.27% of matches at the helm.

Luis Enrique

The Spaniard cut ties with the Spain national team after their disappointing World Cup campaign in Qatar earlier this winter. He has previously had spells at Roma, Celta Vigo and Barcelona in the past and is a free agent right now. The 52-year-old won the La Liga title twice with the latter.

Diego Simeone

The former tough-tackling midfielder has been in charge of Atletico Madrid since 2011 and has been successful in charge of the Spanish outfit, winning both the league title and Europa League twice. However, could he fancy testing himself in another country now? He would be ideal for Chelsea as the wait to see him manage in England goes on.

He could be seen as a left-field option for the Blues. The 48-year-old has worked wonders in the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt, having previously had stints at SV Ried, LASK and Wolfsburg. He won the Europa League last year and his side are currently sat in 6th place.
