Real Madrid star Eder Militao has been speaking about Chelsea ahead of Tuesday night’s Champions League clash at Stamford Bridge.

Real Madrid star Eder Militao has warned Chelsea of the ‘impossible’ task they face on Tuesday night in the Champions League.

The Blues face an uphill task as they look to salvage their disastrous season in the Champions League. Frank Lampard’s men face failure to qualify for Europe and a trophyless season, with the Champions League their only hope at this point.

Though, even that hope is hanging by a thread, with Chelsea currently 2-0 down against Real Madrid as they head into the second leg of their quarter-final tie at Stamford Bridge. Real Madrid aren’t exactly enjoying a brilliant season theirselves, very likely to miss out on top prize in La Liga, but UEFA’s top competition is where they come alive, and they are hoping to keep hold of the Champions League crown this season.

While Chelsea do face an uphill task, coming from behind to defeat Real Madrid is not an impossible task, but according to Los Blancos centre-back Militao, stopping Vinicius Junior just might be.

“He is one of the best in the world, and it’s almost impossible to stop him because he doesn’t stop running,” said Militao in his pre-match press conference.

Speaking about Chelsea, the defender added: “It’s a great team, and it’s very difficult to score goals against them. You have to work hard in attack and that’s what we will do. It’s going to be a very difficult game.”

Chelsea go into the clash on the back of back-to-back defeats and three defeats in four games in the Premier League. The Blues haven’t won since mid-March, now in 11th place and closer to the relegation zone than they are to the top four.
