Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchle has been a blessing to the club in the best of times and the recent dark days.

The German manager has handled the situation surrounding ownership and sale in recent weeks with magnanimity, admiration and respect on and off the pitch.

The Blues might have been rocked with news of sudden sale but their form on the pitch reads six wins in the last six games in all competitions.

They might have fallen out in the race for the Premier League but they have made up for it by winning the UEFA Super Cup and the prestigious Club World Cup to appease a fan base that only accepts winning.

It will be the most Chelsea thing to turn this whole chaos around the club into positivity and go on a winning streak that will see them lift all the major trophies across Europe.

They would have been delighted with the FA Cup semi-final fixture that paired them against Crystal Palace, and with all due respect to Patrick Vieira’s side, you’d fancy Chelsea to go through to the final.

Champions League football is almost certain for the Blues having avoided the temptation to get drawn into a top four battle by getting the business done against teams like Newcastle at a time Eddie Howe’s side were in good shape.

Then there is the Champions League game where they have been paired with record holders Real Madrid, the Spanish giants looked really good against PSG, especially in the second leg but were brought back to earth by Barcelona, in a humiliating 4-0 defeat that would have refreshed minds in Stamford Bridge and Cobham.

Everything points to an epic finish to the season with Thomas Tuchel assuring the fans that he would love to stay at the club regardless of who the next owners are.

So when are the big dates for the Blues

April is massive for the European Champions with crucial games in the league, Champions League and the FA Cup.

The first big one comes after the Brentford home game, with the Blues taking on Champions League record holders Real Madrid on 06-04-2022.

Then there is Southampton on the 09-04-2022 before travelling to Madrid for the second leg against Los Blancos on the 12-04-2022, with no away goal rules, the game is likely to be epic with both teams fighting for Europe’s top glory.

Chelsea’s season is likely to be deflated or energised by that game which is why it’s much more crucial that the Blues progress at the expense of their much fancied Spanish opponents.

Three days after that, on the 15-04-2022 they face Crystal Palace for a spot in the semi-final of the FA Cup at Wembley.

After the FA Cup game, the next two Premier League games are all London derbies with Champions League chasing Arsenal visiting Stamford Bridge on the 20-04-2022 hoping to test their new found form against the European Champions.

Four days after that, Thomas Tuchel will welcome David Moyes and his West Ham team to the Bridge on the 24-04-2022 to crown off a busy April.
