Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino officially turned up for his first day of work at Chelsea training ground as he looks to get the club back on track after a disappointing campaign last time out.
The former PSG and Tottenham manager has been tasked with restoring the club to its glory days after an underwhelming season where they finished 12th despite spending close to £600million in the transfer market.

Hide AdPochettino's contract at Chelsea officially began on Saturday but given it was a weekend it is today Monday that he arrived at the training ground in Cobham.
He turned out in a black Mercedez cab in the company of his trusted assistants Jesus Perez and Sebastiano Pochettino( his brother) who is part of the coaching staff. The 51-year-old said hello and good morning to the people who received him before walking straight into the building to begin work.
Chelsea have a few of the players returning from loan already in the building including Callum Hudson Odoi and Baba Rahman who are all on their way out of the club.
Most of the first-team players don't get back later in the week and the trio of Levi Colwill, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Noni Madueke are still in the midst of the Under-21 European Championships so don’t expect them back till halfway through pre-season.

Hide AdPochettino made history by becoming only the first coach to have moved from managing Tottenham before Chelsea as the norm has always been to have Chelsea managers go to Tottenham after they were done with Chelsea.
Jose Mourinho, Antonio Conte, and Andre Villas-Boas have all managed both clubs but went from west to north and not the other way around.
Chelsea will spend the next two weeks in London where they build up their fitness before flying to the United States for the second part of their preparation for the new campaign.
Chelsea are also in talks with Ghana defender Baba Rahman to terminate his contract and allow him to join Greek side PAOK, Baba has been at Chelsea since 2015 when he joined from Augsburg.
