Enzo Maresca will already be pleased with the transfer business the club have managed so far, but there are more new signings to come, with a centre-back and another winger likely the priorities. Here we round up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Stamford Bridge.

Inter keen on Nkunku

Inter Milan are now said to be interested in a move for unwanted Chelsea frontman Christopher Nkunku. Bayern Munich have been heavily linked with a move for the striker as Chelsea look to make back what they can from their £60million investment.

Nkunku arguably hasn’t been a total flop at Stamford Bridge, but he hasn’t fit into what Maresca wants and has found himself in and out as a result. According to Sky Sport Italy via FCInterNews, Inter are interested in being the forward’s next club, with Chelsea reportedly wanting at least £35million to sell - a fee that would still see them take a big loss.

Madueke interest

Chelsea could be set for a double transfer windfall boost as they consider selling winger Noni Madueke to London rivals Arsenal. The winger was key for the Blues last season, but things seem to have changed this summer, with Maresca hinting that Madueke is no longer a happy camper.

Fabrizio Romano says Arsenal will continue talks over the possible signing of Madueke, with Chelsea reportedly demanding around £50million to wrap up a sale. Although, Romano claims the valuations the two teams have of Madueke are currently some way apart, so it does not appear as though a deal is close to being struck at this stage. This could be one that lingers on into the summer.

Pedro on quick impact

Chelsea’s new signing Joao Pedro had a big impact in the semi-final, scoring both of the goals, and he spoke of his delight after the game. He told the club website: “I think it was a dream first start – I don’t think it could’ve been better,’ Joao Pedro said. ‘I’m very happy. I want to help the team. I knew I could score today, and that’s what I did. The team controlled the game today, did really well and now we’re focused on the final.

“I think we have a great team, great players and it’s a pleasure to play with them. I think this season can be a great season for us. I think I’m happy to score my first goal but also, I know that this tournament is very important for them. I can just say sorry, but I have to be professional. I play for Chelsea and they pay me to score goals. Today, I was happy to score.”
