Graham Potter is reportedly set to make an ambitious move to lure Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane to Stamford Bridge.

According to Italian site CMW, Chelsea are keen on signing the England international and could use Romelu Lukaku as part of a player-plus-cash deal.

Lukaku is currently on loan at Inter Milan after a disappointing season back in the Premier League but previously impressed in Serie A under Tottenham boss Antonio Conte.

The Italian could be tempted by a reunion with the 29-year-old, however it is very unlikely he would be willing to let Kane go - especially to a local rival.

The Tottenham striker was heavily linked with a move to Manchester City last summer but ended up staying at his boyhood club and has continued to shine under Conte - scoring 17 goals and providing nine assists in the Premier League last season.

However, come the end of the current campaign Kane will only have a year remaining on his contract and Bayern Munich are already rumoured to be interested in his signature.

According to reports, the German club are set to make Kane their number one priority following Robert Lewandowksi’s departure and it is thought the 29-year-old could also be tempted by a move to the Bundesliga.

While Kane is nearing his 30s, Spurs will still be keen on keeping him at the club and would certainly prefer to sell to Bayern rather than Chelsea, while Lukaku’s recent form with the Blues may put off Conte from accepting a reunion with the Belgian.
