Chelsea will already be preparing for the January transfer window as the World Cup action continues in Qatar.

The Blues have put together a disappointing season so far, currently sitting in eighth place and already on their second manager. The Blues are eight points off the top four as things stand, and they went into the World Cup break on the back of three straight defeats across all competitions.

Thankfully, they now have a month off to collect their thoughts, and indeed to line up potential targets to improve their squad. In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding Stamford Bridge.

Ziyech latest

AC Milan are being backed to make a fresh move for Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech. Ziyech was expected to leave in the summer, but he ultimately wound up staying put, with Milan failing to agree a deal.

According to 90min, AC Milan are now preparing to make a fresh move for the attacking midfielder, who is likely to find game time hard to come by in the second half of the season.

The Moroccan himself has not yet ruled out a move in the winter, and it seems Milan is the most likely destination, with the Italian giants reportedly eyeing a loan move initially.

Chelssea are said to be in the mix to sign Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix this winter.

The Portuguese superstar has struggled to nail down a starting spot under DIego Simeone this season, with the two sharing a tricky relationship. It has been reported Felix could be sold, and Fichajes say Chelsea are interested.

Manchester United have been linked in recent weeks, and it’s claimed Chelsea could rival the Red Devils for the forward, who is representing Portugal at the World Cup currently.
