N’Golo Kante’s time at Chelsea could end with reports that he is eyeing a move to Atletico Madrid in the summer.

Kante remains one of the best midfielders in the world but he’s barely played this season due a hamstring injury that made him miss the World Cup in Qatar as France reached the final but ultimately lost to Argentina.

Chelsea fans adore the midfielder for many reasons- but the arrival of Argentine World Cup winner Enzo Fernjandez means the French man’s days at Stamford Bridge are numbered due to his injury record and age.

N’Golo Kante is legally allowed to start talking to other clubs as he is in the final months of his contract, but his main priority will be to get fitter before deciding his next move.

Chelsea have spent around £600 million in the last two transfer windows but the appointment of English manager Graham Potter has not necessarily proven to be a success so far with the team 9th on the Premier League table and have just drawn to Fulham at home.

The addition of talents like Joao Felix and Mykhailo Mudryk is however likely to help the Blues as they are world class talent and can win games on their own.

What will be interesting though is how the club deals with the issue of players like Kante and Aubameyang who are clearly on their way out of the club.
