Chelsea are closing in on their return from the international break, returning to action on Saturday when they face Leicester City away from home in the early game. The Blues went into the break pleased with their early season efforts, currently third and very much in the mix for a Champions League spot.
There is plenty of football to play, though, and the Blues need to maintain their form and consistency heading into the new year. In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea failed to land Napoli superstar Victor Osimhen in the summer transfer window despite last-gasp attempts, but they may well circle back for the Nigerian. The striker is currently on loan with Galatasaray, and while he has a break clause in the loan, it seems as though he will be staying for the duration of the deal.
But looking ahead to next season, Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Osimhen will have a £62.6million release clause in place next summer, handing Chelsea the opportunity they need to get a deal done should they wish to add the superstar frontman.
Nkunku claims
There has been plenty made of the Christopher Nkunku situation over recent weeks, with reports the forward is unhappy about his current situation at Stamford Bridge. Nkunku has featured plenty, appearing in 17 games across all competitions, but starts have been hard to come by.
Nkunku is behind Nicolas Jackson in the striker role, while Pedro Neto and Noni Madueke have the wide spots locked up currently. There has been talk Nkunku could demand an exit early in his time at the club - if you subtract his injury issues early on - and Football Insider say the forward is unhappy and currently considering his future.
