Chelsea ready to sell £12.5m star just one year after signing him as Enzo Maresca preference clear
Chelsea are looking to reverse a decision they made just last season regarding one of their first-team players.
Chelsea will listen to offers for goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic this summer, just one year after he joined the club for £12.5 million and was the first-choice goalkeeper under Mauricio Pochettino.

LondonWorld has been told that the goalkeeper, who has been left behind in Cobham to train due to an injury, is one of the players the club is looking to let go as they aim to trim the squad, reduce the wage bill, and strengthen with a comfortable ball-playing goalkeeper.
Last season, Petrovic kept five clean sheets and was the go-to man when Kepa Arrizabalaga left for Real Madrid on the eve of the season and Robert Sanchez, who arrived from Brighton and Hove Albion to challenge, picked up an injury. However, it appears that helping the team finish sixth, an improvement from their 12th-placed finish the previous season, will not be enough to keep him at the club for another campaign.
Chelsea dramatically decided to end Pochettino’s tenure and moved quickly to replace him with Enzo Maresca, who is widely reported to prefer a goalkeeper who is proficient with the ball at his feet and able to distribute and receive the ball under pressure.
Chelsea have many big players they are looking to offload before they can address their weaknesses in the transfer market, including the futures of Romelu Lukaku and Kepa, who has been strongly linked to a move to Saudi Arabia.
The Blues started their U.S. pre-season with a 2-2 draw against Holywood-owned Wrexham, giving fans a chance to see the kind of football the new manager wants to play. French forward Christopher Nkunku and Lesley Ugochukwu scored the goals for the Blues, while Luke Bolton and Jack Marriott scored for the League One side.
