Hide AdCunha claim
Chelsea are said to be one of the clubs keeping an eye on Wolves star Matheus Cunha, who is yet to put pen-to-paper on a new contract. Cunha is a long-term target of Arsenal’s, but Mail Sport claim the Blues are also keeping an eye on the situation in case Cunha does indeed become available before the end of this window.
It’s claimed Wolves want £63million for Cunha, and Chelsea could spring into action if Christopher Nkunku does wind up leaving for the reported £65million asking prices.
Garnacho blow
Chelsea have suffered a blow in their reported bid to land Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho. According to Fabrizio Romano, United have a bid from Napoli to consider with the Blues yet to move.
“Napoli’s opening bid for Alejandro Garnacho worth €50m package add-ons included; Man United want more. Antonio Conte keeps pushing after the call with Garnacho on Friday. Chelsea made contact with United and player side, now deciding internally whether to bid or not.”

Hide AdPalmer warning
Chelsea have been told Cole Palmer might consider leaving if the club can’t get back into the Champions League. Former Liverpool man Dietmar Hamann has said: “Cole Palmer will be pleased to see that Chelsea are making progress because getting back into the Champions League was a minimum requirement from this season.
“In two or three seasons’ time he might think about leaving if he hasn’t won a major trophy, he will want to be challenging at least but at the moment he is committed to the club. He has a healthy arrogance to his game and that could end up taking him to Real Madrid or Bayern Munich, it depends on what happens at Chelsea. I think what happens over the next 12 months will be key.”
