Chelsea player ratings vs Bournemouth: 'solid' 7/10, plenty of 6s but 'very poor' 4/10 in vital win
Christopher Nkunku came off the bench to score the winner as Chelsea recorded their second away win of the season in dramatic fashion. Bournemouth looked good in the first half and played well for large parts of the game.
The host missed a penalty and came back to hunt them when Nkunku on for the wasteful Nicolas Jackson turned two players before finishing brilliantly to give Chelsea what was the lead and eventually the winner.

Hide AdIn what was an important win, here is how we rated the Chelsea players out there:
Robert Sanchez - 8
Left high and dry for the penalty, lucky not to be sent off. Then produced a brilliant save to keep Chelsea level in the first half. A strong display from the Chelsea man.
Axel Disasi - 5
Looked very edgy and uncomfortable, having been forced into the right-back position.
Marc Cucurella - 6
Defended well considering the pressure from Bournemouth.
Wesley Fofana - 5
Very lucky after his sloppy back pass gave away a penalty. Sanchez saved him. Then was moved to right-back.
Levi Colwill - 6

Aggressive and solid in tackles, though his passing could have been more precise. Did some impressive covering all game.
Renato Veiga - 6
Looked very comfortable on the ball after being asked to play in midfield.
Cole Palmer - 6
Seemed like he was fighting for his life in that first half. Gave the ball away sloppily in the second half.

Didn’t get going and was hooked at halftime.
