They were allowed to leave whilst Thomas Tuchel was still in charge at Stamford Bridge and there has been a change of manager at their parent club since they left, with Graham Potter the new face of Chelsea.
Vale, 18, is highly-rated by the Premier League giants and won their Academy Player of the Year in May and is being tipped for a bright future.
