Chelsea have been able to generate almost £150million from player sales and have gotten almost 40million off the books in wages.

The likes of N’Golo Kante, Kalidou Koulibaly, Joao Felix, Edouard Mendy, and Mateo Kovacic have all said their goodbye which has now cleared the way for the Blues to bring in Brighton and Hove Albion’s highly-rated midfielder Moises Caicedo.

The Blues are now just getting ready to now into the next stage of their summer transfer plans and a move for Moises Caicedo is now on the cards according to Fabrizio Romano.

They are not alone in wanting the 21-year-old with Manchester United also widely thought to be keeping an eye on him. Chelsea believe that personal terms will not be a problem and the way they have handled their squad overhaul has strengthened their position of signing new players.

Last season, Ecuador international played 37 of the 38 Premier League games for the Seagulls, evidence of his incredible fitness and was a huge subject of interest from Arsenal before Brighton blocked the move, offered him a new deal, and talked him into believing that future offers would be better and considered.

The Blues signed Argentine World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez for a British record fee but there is a feeling that the signing of fellow South American will unleash Enzo’s full potential and allow the freedom to put his artistic passing game into full use.
