Chelsea goalkeeper Prince Adegoke is reportedly on trial with Stoke City. The Blues have given the youngster the green light to link up with the Championship side on a temporary basis.

Adegoke, 18, played for their U21s team in their fixture against Norwich City over the weekend, as per a report by AllNigerianSoccer. He joined the Potters last week and is training with them as he looks to earn a potential deal.

His contract at Stamford Bridge expires in the summer of 2023. He is due to become a free agent at the end of this season and the fact that he has been allowed to head out the exit door and train elsewhere suggests that his long-term future may lie away from the Premier League outfit.

Chelsea story so far

Adegoke has been on the books at Chelsea for his whole career to date and has risen up through the academy of the London club. He has been a regular for them at various youth levels over the past few years but is yet to make a senior appearance.

The Nigeria youth international was loaned out to Welling United earlier this season in the National League South to get some experience under his belt. He has since returned to his parent club and is now on trial with Stoke as he looks to continue his development.
