Injury latest

The Blues plan to have goalkeeper Edouard Mendy back fit for their trip to Crystal Palace.

He has been out of action recently with an ongoing knee problem.

However, his side are ‘hopeful’ that he will be fit for the match at Selhurst Park next Sunday, as detailed in a report by Football London.

Gordon update

Everton attacker Anthony Gordon was a player heavily linked with Chelsea over the summer.

The youngster ended up staying with the Toffees beyond the transfer deadline.
