The Blues plan to have goalkeeper Edouard Mendy back fit for their trip to Crystal Palace.

He has been out of action recently with an ongoing knee problem.

The youngster ended up staying with the Toffees beyond the transfer deadline.

Journalist Paul Brown believes the Blues will reignite their interest in him though and has said, as per CaughtOffside:

“If he has a brilliant few months, you can guarantee that Spurs, Chelsea and possibly other teams will be sniffing around because they know from his advisors that Gordon is not about to sign a new long-term deal tomorrow with Everton.”
