With the Premier League entering its first international break of the season, now feels like as good a time as any to reflect on the early stages of the campaign, and to look ahead on what is still to come.
Arguably no side in the Premier League as had as tumultuous a start to the new term as Chelsea, with the Blues struggling for their best form on the pitch, and subsequently replacing Thomas Tuchel with former Brighton manager Graham Potter.
In North London, things have gone a lot smoother, however.
Arsenal are currently top of the table after picking up six wins out of seven, while bitter rivals Tottenham are hot on their heels with an unbeaten record and 17 points from their opening septet of fixtures.
But how will things pan out over the remainder of the campaign?

1. Nottingham Forest - 30pts
Despite their hectic summer of transfer activity, Forest have only won one game this season, against West Ham. Steve Cooper’s men are sit 19th in the table, and the experts don’t believe they’ll be able to escape their current predicament.
2. Bournemouth - 35pts
Bournemouth have rallied somewhat under caretaker boss Gary O’Neil, but they are still being tipped to make an instant return to the Championship. Their stunning last gasp win over Forest has arguably been the most thrilling moment of the season so far.
3. Leicester City - 41pts
Just one point from six matches has left Leicester City rooted to the foot of the table. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s goal against Brentford on the opening was probably the last time that the Foxes’ fans felt any semblance of optimism.
4. Everton - 41pts
Neal Maupay’s goal against West Ham was finally enough to hand Everton their first win of the season last weekend. The Toffees are expected to endure another tough campaign, avoiding relegation by the narrowest of margins.
