Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi is attracting interest from north London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham and could leave Selhurst in the summer, just two years after he signed a five-year deal at the club.

Arsenal have seen their Premier League ambition hit following an injury to William Saliba and are thought to be impressed with the strides English defender Marc Guehi has made since he moved to Palace in 2021.

Mikel Arteta and Edu have been consistently linked with Geuhi who Crystal Palace are determined to keep but could be forced to sell if their £50 million valuation of him is met.

Tottenham are also looking to re-build their squad this summer and have had a long look at the former Chelsea defender as he’s young, and adds to their home-grown quota requirement.

Chelsea is keeping an eye on all the reported interests and will benefit significantly from Guehi’s sale having inserted a 20% onward sale clause when they sold him to the Eagles for £18 million.

Guehi has improved significantly and was one of the leaders of the team when Patrick Vieira was in charge, often handed the captain’s armband even when more senior players were in the team.

The maturity of his decision-making has been a credit given he moved to Palace with the aim of testing himself in the Premier League and playing regularly when the easier option would have been to renew at Chelsea, make more money, and be sent out on loan.

Still aged just 22, Guehi has played for England Under 17, 19 , and 21 and made his senior debut in a 2-1 win over Switzerland at Wembley last year.
