Chelsea will go all out for Napoli and Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen in the summer as the final piece to their jigsaw.

The 24-year-old is in red-hot form for the Serie A leaders, he’s scored 16 goals in 17 games and when he isn’t scoring, he terrorises defence with his physicality, movement and pace.

Chelsea have already spent almost £600 million since Todd Boehly and his consortium took over in the summer.

The missing piece though so far seems to be a striker with German Kai Havertz unable to produce the goods consistently.

Chelsea will also have to let go some players with the likes of N’Golo Kante, Romelu Lukaku and youngsters including Conor Gallagher and Mason Mount all still having their long-term futures clouded with doubts.

Mount is yet to agree a new contract despite months of negotiations while Gallagher consistently gets linked to a move away every transfer window.

LondonWorld understands that the new owners want to build a super team that will dominate the Premier League and Europe for years to come and even though recent results haven’t been of the desired standards, it’s only a matter of time before the pieces come together.

The signing of Mykhailo Mudryk even when it looked like he was going to Arsenal and that of midfield powerhouse Enzo Fernandez is proof of the ambition and desire from the new owners to take Chelsea back to where they belong.

Osimhem has been linked with a host of clubs across Europe but LondonWorld understands that the Nigerian striker is determined to test his mettle in the Premier League, and having grown up to idolise Didier Drogba, the Premier League would be the best place for him.

He still has two years left on his current deal but given his current goal-scoring Chelsea will have to break the bank to secure his signature.
