For the third month in a row, and the last time until March, it’s international duty.
In recent times, this short break of domestic football divides opinion. Some loathe it, others don’t seem to mind seeing the best players of a particular nation play twice in a week.

As domestic football fans of the Premier League and Championship take a short break after an exhilarating start to the season, the work continues for those lucky enough to be picked by their nation.
Chelsea enter the last international break of 2021 top of the Premier League, and despite their disappointing draw against Sean Dyche’s Burnley on Saturday, they remain three points ahead of closest challengers Liverpool, who suffered their first defeat of the season to West Ham.
In what may be a good chance to reset, and refocus for the blues, here’s every Chelsea player on international duty.

Reece James is in the form of his life for the west London club right now, and many expect him to start at least one of the two games England have.
England play Albania this Friday, November 12 and then travel to face group I whipping boys San Marino on Monday, November 15. Despite the travel, and quick turnaround for England, these are two games they will win comfortably.
Mount’s role in the team may be under threat as Emile Smith-Rowe’s scintillating form for Arsenal has rightfully earned him a call-up whilst Chilwell will most likely start at least one of the two games, as per Southgate’s selection policy we’ve seen post-Euros.

Andreas Christensen - Denmark
After finding a regular place in a back 3 for Thomas Tuchel, Andreas Christensen has had a mini career revival, after seemingly being out of their plans not long ago.
After playing a starring role for Denmark, in a bitter sweet tournament for them, Christensen will meet up with his fellow Danes as they face the Faroe Islands on Friday, November 12 and Scotland on Monday, November 15.
Despite the Scots proving to be tougher opponents these days, Denmark will hope to continue their 100% record in group F, in an astonishing run in a group that has yet to see them concede.

The Italians face Switzerland on Friday, November 12 and Northern Ireland on Monday, November 15.
Top of the group and unbeaten thus far, Italy will face a stern test on Friday before facing slightly weaker opponents in Northern Ireland, who have only won 1 of their 6 games in group C.

Cesar Azpilicueta - Spain

Chelsea’s captain and current longest serving player, Cesar Azpilicueta, referred to simply as ‘Dave’ by the majority of Chelsea fans, will look to help Spain’s World Cup hopes as they face Greece on Thursday, November 11 and then play Sweden in Madrid on Sunday, November 14.
Spain’s game against Sweden is all the more important as the Swedes top group B, with Greece right on Spain’s tail in third. Whilst a win for Greece wouldn’t see them overtake Spain, it would put them a point behind the former World Champions, and in a week’s time, Spain could be in third place.
Christian Pulisic - USA

Having been linked with Genoa recently, who are managed by former Chelsea frontman Andriy Shevchenko, Pulisic will be hoping to prove his worth to Tuchel. Dubbed ‘Captain America’ by Chelsea fans, Pulisic’s USA will take on Mexico on Saturday, November 13 and then travel to Jamaica on Tuesday, November 16.
