Chelsea have agreed to allow one of their first team players to depart with the end of the January transfer window closing in. The Blues have been focused on exits for the most part this season, with Enzo Maresca needing to offload a handful of players who have not had enough game time so far this season.
The likes of Ben Chilwell, Cesare Casadei, Carney Chukwuemeka, and perhaps even Christopher Nkunku are included in that list, although they now face a race against time to secure an exit.

That’s where Juventus come in, with the Italian giants approaching the Blues over a loan deal. Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have agreed said loan deal, and he medical will take place in the near future ahead of the deal being wrapped up.
Romano tweeted: “Juventus and Chelsea have approved all documents for Veiga loan until the end of the season. Medical and contract signing to follow. Loan + no buy clause confirmed, back in June.”
The lack of purchase clause shouldn’t surprise anyone, with Maresca already making it clear that he loves Veiga. He said previously: “I just said to Renato, he has played already as a centre-back, a full-back, holding midfielder, attacking midfielder. He has already played four or five positions. One of my first press conferences, I said that the reason why I really like and love Chelsea is because many players can be versatile.

You need to learn more positions. Renato, Malo [Gusto], they are playing in different positions and they are doing well.”
