Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino says he was ‘frustrated’ after their 0-0 draw against Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Chelsea were largely the better side and Raheem Sterling saw his free-kick come off the woodwork but in the end the finishing wasn’t there and the Blues will now take on Aston Villa needing a win.

Conor Gallagher shouted at Enzo Fernandez as he slowly waked off the pitch with his team needing a goal to win. Thiago Silva had words with Levi Colwill and Malo Gusto with the frustration from the lack of wins is growing by the day.

Chelsea have now failed to win any of their last two away games and have just one win in their first five games of the season. Pochettino who says they know what they are doing admitted he and and the team were frustrated.

He told reporters after the game: “I think again, it is to talk about deserve but the chances we create in the first 20, 25 minutes, I think we deserved in this moment to score but we didn’t score.

“Then the game was open, the last 15, 20 minutes I think we wanted to win, sometimes we started to disorganise our defence with the full back so high which gave the possibility to make some counterattacks in transition.

“Disappointed with the result because we wanted to win but of course, we know the circumstances. Again we deserve more but we didn’t get what we deserve and that makes me angry.”

Chelsea have had three new injury including Moises Caicedo, something the manager admits they will take a look at tomorrow to see how many they recover. He added: “Cucurella, fever, yesterday he was at home and today continues still. Noni came from the national team with a muscle problem. Caicedo came with a knock in his knee. We will assess tomorrow.”

Chelsea will take on Aston Villa in their next Premier Legaue game in what is now a must win home game.
