Chelsea boss comes out strongly about Burnley's style of play ahead of the weekend's Premier League game

Burnley have won only four games all season but Mauricio Pochettino will not underestimate them.

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino says Burnley might have won just a handful of games this season but they play a stylish brand of football that could cause his team problems this weekend.

The Blues will host Vincent Kompany's side who have struggled to replicate the fine-free-flowing football they showed in the Championship. Losing 20, drawing five and winning just four of their games so far.

Chelsea have lost only one of their last 15 home games and deservedly saw off Leicester to reach the semi-final of the FA Cup before the international break but Pochettino says they will have to be at their best to take all three points this weekend.

He told reporters: "A team that plays with freedom. They are a very physical team with good players, young players. It's always going to be tough. We need to be in a different place, we need to win and perform well.

"The Premier League you are never going to find an easy game. Burnley are a very good team, a very exciting team to watch. It is going to be difficult.

On Kompany as a manager, the Chelsea boss added: "He's doing well. He was doing great in the Championship last season. He's doing fantastic. How we measure the job is not only about results, it's about the process and seeing the potential of the team.

Chelsea will be without Trevoh Chalobah and Robert Sanchez after both failed to train today, Ben Chilwell played for both games for England but is now a doubt according to his manager.
