Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech is heading to Istanbul Turkey to complete a move after Galatasaray agreed to a deal with the Blues for his signing earlier this week. Last season, Ziyech was briefy linked with a move to Manchester United after his former boss at Ajax, Erik ten Hag took over the club.

His departure at Chelsea is expected to begin a second phase of player sales at the club with Callum Hudson Odoi and Romelu Lukaku all in line to leave the club this summer.

The Morocco international has had interest from the likes of Al Nassr where Cristiano Ronaldo plays and came close to joining PSG in January before the deal fell through due to technical issues.

AS Roma have also been in touch but he’s remained at Chelsea and has been training away from the first team alongside Romelu Lukaku. Chelsea have spent almost £1billion in the last three transfer windows under the new owners and have just confirmed the signing of Moises Caicedo for a British record fee from Brighton and Hove Albion.

They are determined to get rid of more players with Newcastle United reportedly keen on signing last year’s Academy Player of the Season Lewis Hall. Hall had been set to join Crystal Palace on loan after signing a new six-year deal, but the Blues have had a change of mind and looking to sell him as they desperately look to balance the books.

According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea are ready to sell Conor Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah, Ian Maatsen and Malang Sarr. They could also send both Carney Chukwuemeka and Lesley Ugochukwu out on loan. Gallagher, Maatsen and Chukwuemeka are willing to fight for their places but the others are ready to leave.
