Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettio is hoping that the injury to star forward Cole Palmer is nothing serious ahead of the all-important Premier League game against Arsenal next weekend.

The biggest loss of the night from a Chelsea perspective was Cole Palmer asking to be replaced before the 60th minute mark having excelled wildly in his first weeks in west London. He has a goal and two assists already and would be knocking on the door to start against the Gunners if he were to be fit.
England under-21 boss Lee Carsley confirmed the injury and said they would not be taking chances. He said: “There are a few bumps and bruises and we will monitor Cole, but we will not be taking any chance."

Chelsea are awaiting the full return of fellow England youth attacker Carney Chukwuemeka as well as £58million summer signing Christopher Nkunku who impressed in pre-season but got injured before they left the United States.
The Blues after a difficult start to the season are now beginning to win games having picked up back-to-back wins against Fulham and Burnley.
The real test though will come after the international break with games against Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle on the other side of the international break.
