Charlton Athletic face losing 'excellent' set-piece specialist to Bolton while Wycombe Wanderers set for blow

Charlton Athletic midfielder Terry Taylor has emerged as a January transfer target for League One rivals Bolton Wanderers with Scottish Premiership outfit Dundee also linked.
That's according to EFL transfer specialist Pete O'Rourke, who claims that a loan move could be sanctioned for the 23-year-old. Taylor has been with the Addicks since July 2023 but only made 21 Charlton Athletic appearances.

Bolton Wanderers target ‘excellent’ set piece specialist
Jones said: “He was excellent. I left him on when I was taking others off. He was really fluent. He got on the ball, he dictated play against two good midfield players. He was excellent.
“He just ran out of legs at the end. He probably made one bad decision at the end where he played it short and could have put it in but apart from that he was impeccable.
“James Brayne [set piece and first-team coach] has stepped up and we have a set-play coach now. We’ve been excellent. Set-plays today, Terry Taylor was wonderful in terms of his delivery.

Leyton Orient race Blackpool for Championship coup
Leyton Orient have joined Blackpool in eyeing up a transfer swoop for Stoke City striker Niall Ennis. The Potters forward has made just 10 appearances in all competitions so far this season and could be deemed surplus to requirements at the bet365 Stadium.
According to Football League World, the O's could look to bring the 25-year-old to London with the offer of more game time. Richie Wellens' side sit eighth in the League One table, just four points off Reading and the play-off places.
Ennis is a graduate of the Wolves academy and enjoyed stints at Doncaster Rovers, Plymouth Argyle and Blackburn Rovers before joining Stoke in February 2024.

Hide AdWycombe Wanderers set for seismic blow to League One promotion hopes
Wycombe Wanderers have enjoyed a head-turning campaign in League One so far and sit second in the division, chasing automatic promotion, after 25 outings.
The Chairboys also defeated Championship opposition Portsmouth in the FA Cup on Friday night but could now be dealt a seismic blow with news that Championship have poached Matt Bloomfield to replace Rob Edwards at Kenilworth Road.
The Guardian reports that Bloomfield is 'poised to succeed' Edwards at Luton with confirmation expected over the next 24 hours. The Wycombe boss is contracted until 2026 but it is claimed the League One side have accepted a proposal from Luton Town.
Edwards left Luton Town last week following a 2-1 defeat to QPR, which left the side 20th in the Championship after their relegation from the Premier League last season. Bloomfield is touted as the ‘ideal candidate’ for the club and is expected to bring his staff from Wycombe Wanderers to the second tier with him.
