Newcastle have become one of the richest clubs in the world, and their strong second half of the season saw them move from rock bottom to 11th, in a teaser for what is to come next season.
Then there is Tottenham, Eriksen’s former club managed by one of his former managers, who now have secured Champions League football, a competition Eriksen himself has said he is determined to get involved in again.

“We will continue to talk to him and his camp about the possibility of that.”
The midfielder will turn 30 this summer, and his next deal is likely to be his last major contract at a high level and so he will likely take time to arrive at the best one.
He has played in 11 league games for the Bees, providing four assists and creating more chances than any other player in Thomas Frank’s side.
