Brentford manager Thomas Frank has admitted his 'body was burning' following a worrying defeat to West Ham at the London Stadium on Monday night.

The Bees welcome Chelsea to the Getch Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon and look to bounce back from three Premier League defeats on the bounce having plummeted to 16th in the top flight, just five points above the drop zone. The visitors play their third match in six days after Sunday's Carabao Cup final defeat to Liverpool and late midweek FA Cup triumph against Leeds United.

Writing in his matchday programme ahead of kick-off, Frank admitted that the Blues would be 'very strong' in the West London derby and praised Mauricio Pochettino as a 'fantastic manager'. He said: "My body was burning after our defeat to West Ham. We didn't hit our level on Monday night - individually and collectively. Of course, it was very disappointing - we scored two good goals, which should have led to at least a point and probably a win - but we have time to analyse and reflect and now we are ready for our next challenge."

Frank acknowledged the 'difficult moment' he finds his side in but will take encouragement from his side's visit to Stamford Bridge earlier this season, which was won 2-0 on away turf. Another blow from the visit to West Ham came in the injury to Ben Mee, who limped off in the second half. It's believed the centre-back may not play again this season.
