A determined Brentford showed early signs of a potential upset at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon as they faced league leaders Liverpool.
However, Thomas Frank's side's organised beginning to the fixture was soon undone by a classy Darwin Nunez chip after 35 minutes. That goal knocked the stuffing out of the Bees and things got messy when Mohamed Salah was brought on from the bench for his first Liverpool appearance since New Year's Day.
The Egyptian sparkled as Liverpool grabbed three more in the second half to make a 75th minute Ivan Toney goal of little importance. Here's how the Brentford stars rated.
1. Mark Flekken - 7
Made a number of good stops today, including an impressive double save in the first half. Was easily chipped by Nunez for the Liverpool opener and let down by his defence today.
2. Ben Mee - 4
Was never going to match Salah for pace when that was a duel and was sluggish for the Egyptian's goal.
3. Nathan Collins - 3
Was a pawn to Salah's game at times and at fault for some of Brentford's defensive slip-ups. Photo: Getty Images

Had his work cut out today from the first minute against Darwin Nunez. Actually battled well against the Uruguayan but was another victim of Liverpool brilliance.
