‘I want to improve’: Brentford’s Christian Nørgaard wants more after winning club’s player of the season

The Dane was the star player for Thomas Frank’s side this season from the heart of midfield, wining tackles and driving the team forward without particularly being Hollywood - like the shirt sponsor.

Hide AdThe 28-year-old has played more than 100 games for the Bees, and had been one of the best midfielders in the Premier League this season.
Despite this success the Dane told Football Scene that he wants to improve on certain aspects of his game.
The Brentford man said: “I have three goals and four assists, which is good for a defensive midfielder.

Hide Ad“But it is one of the places I want to improve and get even better.
“I can still improve, but I’m more than good enough to play at this level.
“It gives me confidence and a good feeling mentally. I have developed so much.
“Especially this season. It has been really great to see that I have the skills to be a Premier League player.”
Christian Nørgaard and Thomas Frank first crossed paths at Brøndby in 2013, and the strong connection has benefited the Bees who have another Danish midfielder star, Christian Eriksen, in their team.
