Wolves v Arsenal injury news as six ruled out and one doubt

Arsenal return to action on Saturday night when they face Wolves in the Premier League.
The Gunners have enjoyed a fine season so far, and they will be looking to go into the month-long World Cup break, which commences after this weekend, sitting top of the table. They may well have to win on Saturday night to make that happen, and they will want to bounce back from a Carabao Cup defeat to Brighton during the week.

Wolves have recently appointed a new manager in reputable former Sevilla boss Julen Lopetegui, but for paperwork reasons, the Spaniard will not take charge until after the upcoming break.
Wolves are sitting in the relegation zone currently, but that could make them dangerous for Arsenal, who have only failed to win one of their Premier League games so far this season.
Ahead of this one, Arsenal have lost Takehiro Tomiyasu to a small injury, with Mikel Arteta saying: “It’s a small injury for Tomi, he did well to stop during the match, so it’s not going to be a big issue. I think he will be back in a week or so, so hopefully he will be fine to start at the World Cup.”
Elsewhere, it’s only Emile Smith Rowe who is sidelined for Arsenal, though it will be interesting to see if Arteta spares any players the risk of missing the World Cup.

Sasa Kalajdzic, Chiquinho, Pedro Neto and Raul Jimenez are all sidelined, Tote Gomes did manage to return during the week, and while Matheus Nunes did not return in time for the cup clash, he is in with a good chance of returning for this one.
