The Premier League have postponed all Premier League fixtures this weekend as the country goes into unprecedented mourning following the death of Queen Elizabeth II on September, 8.

Chelsea’s chance to make up for the Champions League defeat that cost Thomas Tuchel his job will have to wait as the game against Fulham has been called off in respect for her Majesty.

There are doubts over whether Tuesday night’s Champions League game against Salzburg will be played too as they roll out plans going forward.

There has also not guidance on whether next weekend’s home game against Liverpool will go on as planned as the nation works out what is the best way to mourn a Queen who has been a constant in the history of Britain more than anyone else.

The Gunners

Arsenal have five wins from their six Premier League games, they have also just arrived back in England after beating Zurich in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Manger Mikel Arteta would have been hoping for a return to winning ways in the Premier League against Everton but that will not be possible this weekend.

They will now hope their game against PSV will be allowed to carry on as well as the weekend’s game against Brentford. Thomas Frank’s side beat them at the start of last season but the Gunners have improved and it will be interesting to see how that pans out.

The Lillywhites

Spurs remain unbeaten in the Premier League and started their European campaign with an impressive win over Marseille, Richarlison the hero of the day- but all that has not been halted and their game against Manchester City will have to be rearranged for another day.

They will likely push on to have their mid-week game against Sporting Lisbon go on but there is still no decision on the coming weekend’s game against Leicester which has been thrown into huge doubt.
