Famous Arsenal fans came out in force on Sunday evening to celebrate the side's dramatic late win over rivals Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium.

The clash on Sunday afternoon proved to be one for the history books with late drama making for a heart-raising final 15 minutes in London. Alejandro Garnacho thought he had won it for the Red Devils before an 88th-minute goal, which had put Manchester United 2-1 ahead, was ruled out for offside. The Gunners then responded with extra time goals from Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus to deliver a sucker-punch 3-1 victory.

Needless to say, Arsenal supporters across the globe enjoyed the win over their infamous rivals and took to social media to share their love for the club. Among those fans were some famous fans known to follow the Gunners.

TV presenter Piers Morgan was at the Emirates Stadium and filmed celebrations after Jesus' goal while shouting 'come on you Gunners'. The star also taunted Manchester United fans Rio Ferdinand, Wayne Rooney, Gary Neville, Eamonn Holmes and Brian McFadden by writing on Twitter: "Here if you need a hug, lads."

Morgan was still riding the high of Sunday afternoon on Monday morning when he appeared on talkSPORT for a touch more gloating about his side's win over Manchester United. Speaking about the Red Devils, Morgan said: "I think they're c**p. Sorry to use that word at this time in the morning for your more sensitive listeners. I honestly think it's one of the poorest United teams that's ever come to Arsenal. Harry Maguire came on and Arsenal fans cheered!

"There's something inherently wrong with Manchester United. Look back to my interview with Cristiano Ronaldo, pretty much everything he said about Manchester United, the club, the structure, all of it - chickens have come home to roost. Everything was right."
