Arsenal are still sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League, five points clear of Manchester City.

The Gunners have pulled off a few dramatic wins in recent weeks, but they managed to secure a drama-free three points over the weekend by beating Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage. Attention now turns back to the Europa League, and there is business to take care of, currently drawing with Sporting CP following an entertaining first leg.

In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Jesus return ‘problem’

Paul Merson believes Gabriel Jesus’ return from injury could actually cause a headache for Mikel Arteta.

“Gabriel Jesus coming back is a bit of a problem for Arsenal because the lad will want to play – he didn’t sign to be a bit-part player like he was at Man City. It will cause problems in time but at the moment it’s like another signing.”

Jesus was originally scheduled to return at the end of March, but he has already returned, coming off the bench during the win over Fulham.

Milinković-Savić latest

Arsenal could yet get their opportunity to sign Lazio star Sergej Milinković-Savić.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Lazio want around £44million to sell the midfielder, while the player’s agents are said to be fighting for a price of between £30.8m and £35.2m. Milinković-Savić’s contract expires next year, putting Lazio in a difficult place as far as his potential exit is concerned.

Arsenal are said to want to strengthen their midfield this summer, and Milinković-Savić has been linked with the Gunners, along with a number of other clubs. It’s claimed the midfielder would prefer to leave for a fee rather than leaving Lazio in a position where they get nothing in a year or so.
