Arsenal are finally back in action on Friday night.

The Gunners will kick off the new Premier League season against Crystal Palace, and they will get chance to back up what they did during pre-season.

Mikel Arteta’s men looked particularly strong during their summer preparations, but they will have to perform when it counts for it to mean anything, and Friday night’s clash is their first chance to do it.

In the meantime, Arsenal will still be searching for possible additions, and with that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Saliba decision

Arsenal are already said to have made a decision on centre-back William Saliba.

The defender spent last season on loan with Marseille, enjoying a fine run of form in Ligue 1.

Marseille wanted to sign Saliba permanently this summer, but according to The Telegraph, Arsenal have no intention of selling the Frenchman.

Saliba looks set to play a big role this coming season.

Torreira update

Lucas Torreira is now said to have agreed to leave Arsenal.

The midfielder had a deal agreed with Galatasaray, but he was reportedly waiting to make a final decision on his future, considering options.

According to Raisa Simplicio, the Uruguayan has now agreed to complete the move, landing Arsenal a reported £7.5million windfall.

Tielemans boost

Arsenal may have received a boost in their reported bid to land Youri Tielemans this summer.

The Gunners are said to be chasing a £30million deal for the Belgian, who has less than a year remaining on his Foxes deal.

According to The Sun, Leicester are now chasing Lyon star Houssem Aouar as a replacement, perhaps suggesting they are braced to lose Tielemans.
